As per CBSE Scheme, the academic session is from April to March.
There are two terms:
Term I: April To September
Term II: October To March

Examinations:
Two Formative and one Summative Assessment are held in each term. Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) which has been implemented by CBSE in all its schools is followed exactly and grades are awarded on 9 point scale as specified by CBSE.

Evaluation of Co-Scholastic Areas:
In addition to above, co-scholastic areas like Life Skills, Attitudes & values; co-scholastic activities viz literary & creative skills, Scientific Skills,  visual and performing arts physical and health education are also evaluated following Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation. Assessment in various areas is expressed in grades as specified by CBSE.
